Southern California born, Trevor Hanks is a Recording Artist, Singer/Songwriter, Multi-instrumentalist and Producer who's music has elements of Alternative Rock, Rock N' Roll, Blues, Grunge, Americana, Country and Folk. Trevor primarily plays solo acoustic shows, but also plays with his backing band, the Blackburn Rebels.
As a kid, Trevor taught himself how to play the drums, then began learning to play guitar at the age of ten and over the years he has added many more to his tool belt so to speak. Music, specifically, punk rock, became a way to escape dysfunction in his home. Shortly after learning guitar, he wrote his first song at age twelve and this song unlocked a unique ability that allowed him to tell a story while doing so in an extremely honest and ecnouraging way.
In 2020, Trevor began releasing singles such as "Billy Prodigal", "Everyone Needs A Little Love" and "Saturday Night" and more recently, Trevor put out an album, entitled "Glorious Ruins", which is a concept album. Each song ties in the name and theme of the entire album. The idea is that all humans are broken and in desperate need of repair, which we can't do on our own. While at the same time we are incredibly beautiful. Every single human.
Currently, Trevor is in the studio writing and recording his own music. He is also a session musician/producer for other artists. Trevor also has a sync deal with LA based, Accidental Entertainment which allows for unique opportunities to have his songs in in tv and film.
